ARTIST BIOGRAPHY (from internet offer): Guy Hoff, born in Rochester, New York, trained at the Art School of the Albright Gallery in Buffalo and the Art Students League in New York City. Guy painted covers for The Saturday Evening Post. He also did illustrations for Proctor & Gamble, Lux and Ivory Soap. In New York he designed program covers for the Shubert Theatres and then sold his first magazine cover to Smart Set which put him on the national scene and became a well known American Illustration working Artist starting in the 1930’s. Other Credits include many Cosmopolitan, Judge Magazine, the Illustrated Love magazine, American Woman, Liberty, Colliers, Pictorial Arts.  He was a member of the Society of Illustrators, and participated in the WPA/Federal Art Project. He exhibited at the National Academy of Design and the Society of Illustrators.
